The exhibition presents a collection of works, differing in style and medium, from artists of different sex and background, a reflection on vulnerability and how female subjectivity is repeatedly challenged by abuse in its many forms (physical, cultural, political).

The works exhibited will amplify and contain the many voices reporting on gender violence, in the attempt to offer,  through multiple aesthetic codes, at times explicit at times hidden, a way to exorcise it.

Donnexstrada will attend the Talk: “Art as a tool for processing trauma and violence”

Laura De Dilectis clinical psychologist and vice-president of Donnexstrada association will explore with psychotherapist Teresa Dattilo, a member of DonneXStrada and president of the Donna e politiche familiari Association, the possibilities that art offers in psychotherapeutic work and in raising awareness about gender-based violence. Art became a device but also a path to be made together  Art as an exploration of one’s own experience and as a powerful, effective, emotional means of communication.
